Carbon fiber vinyl wrap uses a 3D-textured surface with a printed weave pattern underneath to convincingly imitate real woven carbon fiber composite. The best 4D and 5D films like 3M 2080 Carbon Fiber Black and Avery SW900-180-X Carbon Fiber have actual three-dimensional surface relief — you can feel the weave with your fingertips.
Most carbon-fiber wraps are applied as accents: hood, roof, spoiler, mirror caps, side skirts and pillar trim. Full-body carbon-fiber wraps exist but tend to overwhelm vehicle body lines on anything bigger than a coupe. We pair carbon-fiber accents most often with gloss black or matte black main bodies for a factory-engineered look.
Mustang GT, Camaro SS, BMW M2/M4, GR Supra, Civic Type R — carbon-fiber hood and roof accents are the single most requested aftermarket vinyl mod.
Carbon-fiber roof and rear spoiler is the most popular Tesla styling upgrade — instantly turns the white or black factory finish into a $90k-looking build.
M Performance and Audi RS models — carbon trim from the factory costs thousands; the wrap version delivers 90% of the look for 10% of the price.
We install 3M 2080 Carbon Fiber Black, Avery SW900-180-X Black 4D Carbon and Avery SW900-180-Z 5D Carbon. All three are textured cast films with full 5–7 year manufacturer warranties. The 4D and 5D variants have progressively more aggressive surface relief — 5D is the closest to real carbon weave under hand or photograph.

Carbon-fiber wraps are textured — dirt, dust and road film get trapped in the weave pattern and need slightly more attention than a smooth wrap. Hand wash with a soft brush or detail brush to lift residue from the texture grooves; never use a stiff bristle brush that could damage the relief.
The textured surface actually hides minor scratches and swirls better than smooth gloss or matte films because the texture diffuses surface light. Avoid pressure washing within 2 feet of the panel — high PSI can lift the textured film from edges over time.
How long it lasts in FL sun.
5–7 years on premium textured cast film. Carbon-fiber accents on hood and roof (the most UV-exposed panels) sometimes need re-wrap at 4–5 years; body-side and lower panels last the full 7.
We confirm the exact shade with physical Avery / 3M color cards, finalize coverage and lock the install date.
