Chrome wrap uses metallized vinyl films with a high-gloss mirror finish that approximates polished chrome trim or wheels — across every panel of your vehicle. Avery Conform Chrome and 3M Wrap Film Series 2080 Chrome are the two professional-grade options, available in silver, gold, rose gold, blue, red, purple and copper.
Chrome is the most attention-grabbing wrap finish available and also the most demanding. The metallized adhesive layer is less forgiving than standard cast film — recessed curves, mirror caps, door handle cutouts and hood vents need an experienced installer or the finish will buckle, crease or show seams. We install chrome with a 2-person team because of the precision required.

We install Avery Conform Chrome and 3M Wrap Film Series 2080 Chrome — both certified specialty films. Chrome wraps carry a shorter warranty than standard cast (3 years on Avery Conform Chrome vs 7 on SW900) because the mirror layer is more sensitive to UV, environmental contaminants and pressure washing.

Chrome shows every imperfection — fingerprints, water spots, swirl marks, micro-scratches all magnify against a mirror surface. Hand wash only with a fresh microfiber wash mitt; never let it touch the ground between passes (grit kills chrome fast). Dry with a clean microfiber within 15 minutes of washing to prevent water spotting.
No automatic car washes ever. No pressure washing within 3 feet of the panel. No waxes, sealants or compounds — they discolor the chrome layer permanently. Garage storage is strongly recommended because Florida sun degrades chrome adhesive faster than any other vinyl film.

3–5 years in Florida sun with garage storage and consistent hand-wash care. Daily-driven chrome wraps in direct sun typically need re-wrap on hood, roof and trunk within 2–3 years. Vertical surfaces hold up much better than horizontal.
