Matte wraps require special care — never use any wax, polish or compound, ever. Those products fill the micro-texture that creates the matte finish and turn it into a streaky semi-gloss mess. Use only matte-specific products: Chemical Guys Meticulous Matte Detailer, Adam's Matte Detailer or similar.
Hand wash only with pH-neutral matte-safe shampoo. Avoid touchless car washes that use strong alkaline pre-soak chemicals — they can also damage the matte topcoat. Spot-clean bird droppings, bug splatter and sap within 24 hours to prevent etching.

5–7 years on premium 3M 2080 / Avery SW900 matte. Matte finishes can develop shiny spots on high-touch areas (door handles, around the trunk latch) within 3–4 years — those are repairable as individual panel re-wraps.
