Premium card FAQ.
What's the difference between soft-touch and standard business cards?
Soft-touch is a velvety matte coating that signals luxury the moment a card is handed over — common with concierge services, private wealth managers and high-end Naples real estate brokers. Standard business cards are glossy or matte without the tactile finish. Soft-touch costs more per card, but the tactile difference is immediately obvious to anyone in a Park Shore or Old Naples client meeting, which is why most Naples professionals upgrade once they feel a sample. We keep blank soft-touch samples at the shop — ask and we will mail one.
How long does a foil-stamped business card take to print?
Foil-stamped business cards take 5 to 8 business days from approved proof because foil stamping is a second pass after the four-color print. The card runs through the press once for ink, then through a foil press where heat and pressure transfer real metallic foil to the paper. Two passes, two setups, two QC checks. We never promise same-day on foil work because rushed foil comes out with cold edges and skipped registration — exactly the opposite of why you ordered foil. Plan a week minimum from approved proof.
Can you match my Pantone brand color exactly?
Yes — we print Pantone-matched spot colors on letterpress and offset business card runs of 500 or more. Digital and short-run cards use a CMYK build that is calibrated to your Pantone reference, and we share a printed proof on the actual stock so you can confirm color before we run the order. For real estate brokerages or law firms with strict brand standards — Premier Sotheby's, the larger Naples firms — send your Pantone Coated number and a brand guide and we will hit it within tolerance or reprint at no cost.
What's the minimum order for letterpress business cards in Naples?
250 cards minimum on letterpress because the polymer or magnesium plate setup is the same labor whether we run 100 cards or 500. Cotton paper letterpress is our most-requested premium product for Naples wedding planners, art gallery owners and family-office advisors — anyone whose brand depends on the first physical impression. 500 and 1000-card tiers cost less per card and are what most Naples professionals order. Ask for a quantity quote and we will show you the per-card price drop.
Do you design business cards or just print?
We do both. Design for Naples engagements starts at Quote on request and includes 2 to 3 concept rounds, a brand-aligned layout and print-ready files for any finish you choose. Most of our Naples real estate, legal and concierge medicine clients want a single shop handling both — we draft the card, you approve, we print on the stock and finish you signed off on. Standalone print-only orders are also fine when you arrive with a print-ready PDF. See our logo design page if you also need brand mark work.
Can I get business cards the same day in Naples?
No — we never promise same-day premium business cards. Standard turnaround on soft-touch is 5 to 7 business days from approved proof, and foil or letterpress runs 8 to 11 days. Print, finishing, hand-inspection and packaging all take time, and a rushed soft-touch card comes out scuffed, with thin coating coverage or color drift. If you have a real deadline, tell us at quote stage and we will tell you honestly whether your finish can hit it.
