What is digital printing
and why it fits Fort Myers business.
Digital printing is direct computer-to-substrate output — your file goes straight from our RIP software to ink-on-paper, ink-on-vinyl or UV-cured ink-on-rigid in one pass. There are no plates to make, no minimum to break even on, and the next sheet can be a completely different design without resetting anything. That is the whole reason it took over for short and mid runs: 1 piece prints at the same per-unit cost as the 50th piece, photos and gradients come out clean, and turnaround is days instead of weeks.
The two other major print methods exist for different jobs. Offset uses metal plates and is only economical above 5,000 pieces — newspapers, magazines, mass mailers. Screen printing is a separate fabric process for apparel — that is its own shop, with its own ink chemistry, and not something we offer. We are a fully digital operation: every business card, brochure, banner, sign, decal and wrap on this page is printed on our own digital equipment in Lehigh Acres, 15 minutes from downtown Fort Myers. No middleman, no outsourcing, no surprise upcharges.
We run two production lines side by side. The HP Latex 365 is a 7-color wide-format printer with water-based eco-friendly inks (no VOCs, GREENGUARD Gold certified) — that handles roll-fed banners, vehicle wrap vinyl, posters, window vinyl and storefront graphics. The Mimaki UJV100 is a UV flatbed for rigid substrates — acrylic, wood, foam-core, coroplast, brushed aluminum, magnetic stock. Together they cover everything from a 100-piece business card order to a 40-foot truck-side mural.
